NVIDIA Academic Grant
Dr. Ali Rahnavard and Dr. Keith Crandall received NVIDIA Academic grant to advance our Targeted Genomic Language Models
Dr. Ali Rahnavard and Dr. Keith Crandall received a NVIDIA Academic Grant award (https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/industries/higher-education-research/academic-grant-program/) for their project ‘Training Genomic Language Models for Metagenomic Data Science’. In support of their project, NVIDIA is donating to George Washington University 32K A100 GPU-Hours on their Brev platform. This compute resource will allow their team to train and test their novel genomic language models applied to metagenomic DNA sequence data for characterizing microbiome diversity, identifying drug resistant variants, and identifying genomic variants associated with disease.
